I enjoyed reading Palo Duro Gold, just as much as I did the first three books in the series and hopes he write a fifthe to tell the story of Cole and Chief in New Mexico. The entertwine history of Texas in the book was fascinating.
Author writes about west Texas - Panhandle area and it's fun to read his books.
My husband normally doesn't read this type of book, but enjoyed reading it.
The author does a very good job with the geography except for a couple of mistakes that jumped out at me. My main objection is the shooting accuracy of his heroes. Billy Dixon's shot at Adobe Walls is well documented at 1700 hards, just 60 yards of a mile.
